ST. LOUIS — St. Louis is the site of a new emergency preparedness program that the American Red Cross plans to take nationwide.
The Red Cross ready rating program allows schools, companies, and organizations the ability to assess how prepared their staff, or community should a disaster strike right now.
It involves looking at the first aid, survival, disaster supplies and equipment in place. Participants will also develop emergency plans and designate roles for people during a disaster.
