Texas woman killed in minivan, ambulance crash

The ambulance was reportedly not responding to an emergency call and was not transporting any patients at the time

ROBERTSON COUNTY, Texas — A woman was killed on Monday in a collision between a minivan and ambulance in Robertson County, about 50 miles east of Temple.

The accident occurred on State Highway 6, between Calvert and Hearne.

State Troopers say the two people in the minivan were transported to St. Joseph's Hospital in Bryan where one of them later died. The condition of the other victim of the crash has not been released.

The ambulance was reportedly not responding to an emergency call and was not transporting any patients at the time of the accident.
