FORT PIERCE, Fla. — A Treasure Coast firefighter is in hot water after admitting he spied on an intern in the fire station shower. 36 year-old Carlos Marti faces a misdemeanor charge of voyeurism. He was brought to the St. Lucie County jail on Friday afternoon.
Early Thursday morning, Fort Pierce officers were called out to Fire Station 15 on Avenue D around 2 a.m. A 19 year-old paramedic intern told investigators she saw a man looking down from the ceiling while she was taking a shower.
According to the police report, Marti had gotten into the ceiling through the men's bathroom, then crawled over above the women's restroom where a small section of ceiling tile was missing.
