Idaho medical trailer ready for national disasters

REXBURG, Idaho — Wednesday afternoon, Madison County showed off the latest tool they could use to respond to a catastrophic event across the nation.
The Medical Unit Trailer was unveiled at the Rexburg Fire station. The trailer is so advanced, it has state-of-the-art satellite technology that allows for two phone lines, wireless Internet and a web camera that can be used for Doctor-Patient Web Appointments.
The trailer came to the county after the emergency services department tried to find more jobs for all the paramedics they had.
