Ky. ex-paramedic charged with false reporting

LOUISVILLE, Ky. — A former Louisville Metro paramedic who claimed to have been stabbed in May while working near Middletown has been accused of falsely reporting the incident.

A Jefferson County grand jury indicted Joshua Ware Wednesday on one felony count each of tampering with physical evidence and insurance fraud. He also faces one misdemeanor charge of falsely reporting an incident.

On May 28, while preparing an ambulance for a shift near Middletown, Ware, 24, reported that he had been stabbed in the abdomen.
