UK medic denied right to buy alcohol in uniform

ADDLESTONE, U.K. — A paramedic stripped to his underwear at Tesco in Addlestone — after the cashier refused to sell him alcohol.

The ambulance man was shopping in Tesco in Station Road, Addlestone, late on Tuesday when the cashier would not let him buy alcohol because he was in uniform.

In protest, he left the store, took his uniform off, and walked back in wearing just a thong and a pair of socks.
