INDIANAPOLIS —  Family, friends, coworkers and scores of emergency responders attended the funeral service for EMS Private Timothy McCormick on Tuesday.

The 24-year-old died early Saturday morning after the ambulance he was driving was hit by a car near the intersection of Senate Avenue and St. Clair.  His coworker, Specialist Cody Medley, also died as a result of the crash.

McCormick’s funeral began with a procession from Crown Hill Cemetery where a visitation had been held Monday afternoon. Dozens of EMS, fire, and police vehicles took part in the procession which ended at the steps of Saints Peters and Paul Cathedral.
