Position Title: Operations Manager

Position Type: Operations Manager or Director

Job Description

To oversee the daily operations of Perinton Volunteer Ambulance Corps and manage staff as appropriate. Duties to include incident command, personnel management, public relations, presentations to the Board of Directors, scheduling/staffing, attending local/regional meetings as appropriate, training of staff, record keeping, etc.

Job Requirements

  • Education Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
  • Experience 5 years experience in a personnel management position
  • Additional Requirement :
    Certification as a NYS EMT-B or higher for a minimum of 6 years, valid NYS Driver's License, strong public speaking / presentation skills, no criminal convitions, proficiency in MS Office programs (MS PowerPoint, Excel, Word, etc.), experience in a combination volunteer / career staff EMS agency preferred, at least 3 references from someone familiar with your EMS experience, the ability to clear as a driver, BLS medic, and dispatcher
