Lincoln County Emergency Medical Services

Position Title: EMT-Paramedic

Position Type: Paramedic

Job Description

Minimum Requirements (EMT Paramedic): Education and experience equivalent to graduation from High School and training in emergency medical care to obtain certification as an EMT-Paramedic. Prior experience, national registry certification, and associate’s degree preferred.

Job Requirements

  • Age 21
  • Education High School Graduate
  • Experience Prior experience, national registry certification, and associate’s degree preferred.
  • Additional Requirement :
    Special Requirements (EMT-Paramedic): Possession of a valid appropriate driver’s license issued by the State of North Carolina, a safe driving record, Certification by the N.C. Office of EMS as an EMT-Paramedic, (National Registry and Certified Rescue Technician preferred). A.C.L.S., B.C.L.S., P.A.L.S., and I.T.L.S. or P.H.T.L.S. required. EVD certification and National Registry must be obtained within six (6) months of employment. Copy of certifications required with application.

Salary Information

Salary: $16.32 per hour
