Job Description |
The Charleston Fire Department is looking for qualified paramedics interested in an entry level position as a firefighter paramedic. You will work a 24 on 48 off schedule, with a kelly shift every 8th shift. During your 24 hour shift, 12 hours will typically be on the ambulance and 12 hours on the engine. Written test will be March 25, 2013.

Additional Information

$2.50 per hour additional while assigned to the ambulance.
$0.50 per college credit hour per month up to a maximum of 128 hours
$700.00 annual clothing allowance

Job Requirements
|
- Age 18
- Education High School Diploma or GED
- Experience Certified Paramedic, we provide all of your fire training.
- Additional Requirement :
Candidate must be less than 36 years of age at date of application
Pass a medical and eye examination
Pre employment and random drug testing
CPAT - physical agility test
