Job Description |
Rangely District Hospital has an opening in the Ambulance Department for a Paramedic level Ambulance Coordinator position. This is a full-time position working 32-40 hours a week and will report directly to the EMS Ambulance Director.
1. Must have Current Paramedic Certification with minimum 5 years of active experience. Valid Drivers License, Clean DMV record.
2. Must have a current ALS and CPR Instructor certification.
3. Must be able to express ideas clearly in both written and oral communications, able to follow instructions closely, and work within the chain of command.
4. Job entails prolonged, extensive or considerable standing, lifting, stooping, bending, kneeling and crouching. May be exposed to unpleasant work elements such as accidents, injuries, and or illnesses. Required to lift 25 to 50 lbs. regularly and up to 100 lbs occasionally.
5. Must display professional, ethical behavior and be able to maintain STRICT confidentiality at all times
6. Must have ability to work well with people and maintain composure in stressful situations.
7. Assist Director with staff development and implementation of programs for department.
8. Share Schedule and Emergency ON CALL TIME for department as per departmental needs.
9. When Director is unavailable, will be responsible for the Ambulance Department and/or other duties as assigned by the Ambulance Director.
