Job Description |
The primary purpose of this job is to lead Vital Link to fulfill its mission by planning, implementing, directing, and evaluating Vital Link programs and services; achieving corporate objectives; developing and directing professional and managerial staff, and collaborating with the Board of Directors. The Chief Executive Officer reports to the Vital Link Board of Directors.

Vital Link Emergency Medical Service is a private, non-profit, public benefit corporation that provides emergency, non-emergency, and disaster response services to Independence, Izard, Stone, and northeastern Cleburne Counties in north central Arkansas. Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in business or related field preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired -
Five years progressive managerial experience required -
Demonstrated abilities in leadership, strategic thinking, financial planning, human relations, communication, and customer service -
Work history of demonstrated business acumen, professional expertise, board collaboration, and personal effectiveness -
Medical background preferred, but not required -
Resident of Vital Link service area by time of employment.
