CLEARWATER, Fla. —  A SunStar paramedic was arrested Wednesday, accused of molesting a patient in an ambulance on its way to a hospital, the Pinellas County Sheriff's Office said.

Patrick Livingston, 38, of 405 Oakmont Road, Clearwater, was charged with one count of sexual battery.

The female patient told detectives she was molested June 26 when she was touched "in a manner which was inappropriate and not medically necessary for her condition," the sheriff's office said in a news release.
