Job Description

The Section of Injury Prevention and EMS is recruiting nationally for the position of State EMS Unit Manager. This is an exciting and dynamic job located in Juneau, Alaska’s capital city.

Additional Information

The successful applicant must have the following strengths: Comprehensive knowledge of Alaska statutes and regulations as they pertain to EMS issues. EMT, Paramedic, or Emergency Nursing or emergency medical experience Strong ability to communicate in English, both orally and in written format; with medical and non-medical personnel alike Management and organization skills Strong background in managing and supervising Ability to motivate and strengthen core team

Job Requirements

  • Age N/A
  • Education Master's Degree, or Bachelor's or RN with experience
  • Experience Master's: One year of supervisory level experienc
  • Additional Requirement :
    One year of supervisory level experience performing health program planning, development, coordination, evaluation or implementation, technical health care assistance and consultation, health care utilization or quality assurance examination, and/or health care service delivery.

Salary Information

Salary: $5,332  per month
