Crash sends Ore. ambulance into power pole
Canby Fire District crews responded to find a damaged Honda on the side of the road and a Metro West ambulance
CANBY, Ore. — A woman was seriously injured after her car was involved in a collision with an ambulance in Canby Thursday night.
The accident occurred at about 7 p.m. at the intersection of South Knights Bridge and Barlow roads. Canby Fire District crews responded to find a damaged Honda on the side of the road and a Metro West ambulance that had crashed into a power pole, with fallen power lines lying on and around the ambulance.
The two paramedics who were in the crashed ambulance were providing medical aid to the driver and only occupant of the Honda, the fire district said.
