Video: SUV crashes into fire truck on live TV

While giving a traffic update, an SUV was hit by a swerving vehicle, striking the apparatus

By EMS1 Staff

HOUSTON — Video shows an SUV crashing into a fire truck on live TV Wednesday morning.

KPRC's traffic reporter Jennifer Reyna was giving a live traffic update explaining that fire crews were leaving the scene of an earlier accident, when the crash occurred.

Reyna did not realize what happened until she was off the air.

A vehicle was traveling down the highway when it swerved to avoid one of the fire trucks and hit an SUV, which in turn crashed into a fire truck.

The SUV rolled over several times, but no serious injuries were reported.
