Ambulance collides with car in Minn. intersection

Waite Park ambulance, which was travelling with lights and siren on, was entering an intersection when it hit car

WAITE PARK, Minn. — An ambulance transporting a patient to the hospital in Minn. collided with a car Thursday morning.

No injuries were reported in the crash in Waite Park. The ambulance, which was travelling with lights and siren on, was entering an intersection when it hit the car, according to WCCO.com.

The man was traveling through the intersection with a green light at the time of the accident, the report said.

Authorities called in another ambulance to complete the transport of the patient to St. Cloud Hospital, and the cause of the crash is being investigated.
