This year in EMS is marked by both tragedies and triumphs. A record-high number of Medevac-related deaths and several fatal crashes incidents and roadway incidents underline the dangers of this job. Yet, as EMTs and paramedics, we continue to push forward and work toward a professional, unified voice for EMS around the world. Looking back on this year of change, we in EMS should be proud of what we've accomplished and remain hopeful of the year to come.
